The Benefits of FIANA Membership
Floor Installation Association of North America (FIANA) is a non-profit organization whose members are currently from throughout Canada and the United States.
Members must be Manufacturers or Distributors of floor installation products and/or flooring accessories.
Objective: "Professionalism Through Education."
There are many reasons for a distributor or manufacturer of floor installation products to become a member of FIANA.
- It's an opportunity to join with other members, of this segment of the industry, in addressing issues that have an effect on your business. A great place for peer interchange of your thoughts and ideas.
- Become acquainted with your counterparts all over North America. A group of people from which to ask questions that concern you, in operating your business.
- Be listed as a FIANA member on the FIANA interactive web-site and be hyper-linked to your web-site. The web-site is an excellent source for the installation contractors who may need supplies, when doing an installation out of town. It's also a great place for the distributor looking for product lines or a manufacturer looking for distribution.
- A FIANA members only section of the web-site for classified ads of overstock or obsolete inventory you need to sell off or to post questions to other FIANA members.
Also a good place to post searches for products out of production. Products that your customer might need to finish an installation.
- Only FIANA members can attend the Annual Convention/ Trade Show. The only trade show exclusively for distributors and manufacturers of floor installation products. It's a great place to do business.
- A quarterly FIANA News. Where you can announce personnel changes, New
Product's, new branch locations or other news about your company that would be of interest to the other FIANA members.
- At the annual convention top rated speakers present programs on a variety of subjects that educate, entertain and motivate. All designed to improve your knowledge and your life.
- At the Trade Show we have 60+or - booths where our Manufacturer Members exhibit their products and services. Many exhibitors offer Show Specials.
- We also have Installation Training Seminars on various floor covering products.
- Our Board of Directors is comprised of 6 Distributor Members and 6 Manufacturing Members, plus the Chairman who only votes in case of a tie vote by the Board.
- We publish a FIANA Membership Directory in which your company would be listed. In the Directory the Distributor Members are listed along with all their Branch locations .Also listed on our web-site.
- Coming soon internet training on installation of various floor coverings. Available to FIANA members only.
