Annual Dues for Distributor Members:
$500 (One Location)
$750 (Two to Four Locations)
$1,000 (Five or More Locations)
A FIANA distributor member must be engaged in the process of selling and marketing floor covering installation accessory products to flooring retailers, floor installation workrooms, flooring contractors, and individual floor covering installers.
A FIANA distributor member cannot be any of the above entities described as customers of the accessory distributor.
A FIANA distributor must primarily buy flooring installation products from the original equipment manufacturer and not other distributors. These would be Sub-Distributors and not eligible for FIANA membership.
A FIANA distributor member should strongly support manufactures that market their products through legitimate distributors and not direct to the trade.
Membership in FIANA is subject to approval by the Board of Directors and the Board my cancel any membership at any time with out cause.
The manufacturer must be engaged in the process of manufacturing products for use in the installation of floor covering products and sold through legitimate floor covering supply distributors. FIANA supports manufacturers who do not sell direct to retailers, installation firms, or commercial flooring contractors. Manufacturers may not own or operate a floor covering distributor or provide jobsite installation services for profit.
A manufacturer membership in FIANA is subject to approval by the Board of Directors and any deviation from the above requirements must be also be approved by the Board. The Board can cancel membership in FIANA at any time without cause.
