Here is the news about the 17th FIANA’s annual convention, where the manufacturers and distributors made it special with their presence.
The 17th annual meeting of the Floor Installation Association of North America’s (FIANA) conducted here was well accompanied by the membership, according to the president and CEO, Gary Verhey.

“Total presence was up somewhat, but encouragingly,” he said. Ten new manufacturing companies were exhibiting at the trade show and six new vendors attending the convention.
The new production companies contained Imperial Group, CMP Speciality Products, FilmTech, B&H Manufacturing, CENO Blades, Miracle Sealants, Mozart Blades & Tools, Rollmaster Software, Wagner Electronic Equipment, and Wedi Corp.
Attendees could sit in on three networking sessions covering a report on the recent organization membership survey, seller conditions by vendors, and sales damages.
“A total of 60 booths enabled providers to view processes, new products, and thoughts, as well as quality time for relationship networking between vendors and the producers,” Verhey said. Good buying opportunities were offered to all providers in attendance.
Grahame Poferl, the manager of customer development for first-time exhibitor Personna, said FIANA provides the ability to have conversations with vendors in a restricted environment. “We were placed in the tool marketplace strengthened Personna and well-received as well. ”

Like Poferl, Mike Ball of BPI considers among the largest advantages of attending the FIANA show is the networking that occurs among exhibitors and vendors. It’s all about the sharing of the strategies and info for enhancing our company. I believe there’s an original intimacy among FIANA participants, although BPI has supervisors that attend Surfaces.
At FIANA, I will collect tips on other members who are contending with the uncertain market, and “2011 continues to be a challenging year for every one of us,” Ball said. There were some outstanding breakout sessions where all of the US put our heads together to solve and discuss these problems.
